                             RESOLUTION NO. 21671
        
        
              A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO NEGOTIATE AND 
              EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE  M. L. KING 
              DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION TO EXCHANGE THE CITY'S 
              INTEREST IN THE SOLAR TRAINING INSTITUTE FOR THE 
              CORPORATION'S INTEREST IN THE BESSIE SMITH HALL AND 
              MUSEUM PROPERTY.

              BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
      CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that the Mayor be and is authorized to 
      negotiate and execute an agreement with the M.L. King Development 
      Corporation to exchange the City's interest in the Solar Training 
      Institute for the Corporation's interest in the Bessie Smith Hall 
      and Museum property.
